Layout for a "Zuckertüte". It´s a German tradition to give children for their very first day at scool a cornet made from paper, filled with sweets and little gifts. Those cornets normally are coloured and pretty sweet decorated. For example with sparrows =)

I just realized you have many more pages of drawings I did not see yet! I thought you were referring to this drawing when you mentioned your bird character... but perhaps I am wrong?
