Tweaked an earlier Mile High Sports cartoon (commentary re apparent lack of attention for the Avs & Nuggets in favor of the Los Angeles Rams, and also Arsenal FC) after Colorado Mammoth won their first NLL championship since '06 in an epic game last night. I caught Dillon Ward's record-breaking performance in goal by clicking back & forth from Avs game because they clearly couldn't figure out how to better schedule the game. A guy who owns both clubs (with overlapping fan bases) and just a little bit of influence seems like could've made it work, but it certainly fits the ongoing narrative.
