Conflict has spread across the Middle East since the US and Israel launched wide-ranging strikes on Iran. There have also been strikes in countries hosting US bases - Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait - and US-allied Oman and Saudi Arabia. Iraq and Syria have also been attacked, while a new front in the war opened in Lebanon, with Israel launching strikes in response to rockets fired by Hezbollah
