Meitetsu, that is Japanese railway enterprise around Aichi prefecture, 3400 series had been in service since 1937 until 2002. During this period, it had taken several alterations. When it constructed in 1937, 3400 formation consisted of 2 coachs. But in 1950 and 1953, every one coach had been added to this formation. So it became 4 coachs in one formation. In all, 12 coachs 3400 series had been manufactured from 1937 to 1953. 10 coachs of them had been scrapped in 1988. Only 2 coachs had been in sevice until 2002. I drew the 3400 version appeared from 1953 to 1968 that I think very beautiful. 3400 was called 'Imomushi' that means hornworm in Japanese.
