I think F4U is much better design F6F sacrificed its design. But F6F was active in defeating ridiculous spiritualism Japanese army like Kamikaze attack. Its max speed is about 600km/h but its dogfight ability is very high. Dogfight avility, strong body and simplicity is F6F's good point.
