The capital city of the Yukon, Whitehorse, shut down an annual Christmas tradition, the Garbage Truck Santa. A local city employee donated his time to drive a decorated garbage truck through neighbourhoods playing Christmas songs and passing out candy to children. The City said the lit-up truck was a distraction to other drivers. Humbug!
