No, I absolutely don't think it would be good for Turkey. Even when we are yet in front of the door, it bursted very expensive for us!
Interesting... does the Turkish people think so? I guess you are right. If Greece wasn't in EU, there would be no trouble, and the other EU countries wouldn't worry about their shiny blinky nice currency.
Of course, there are Turkish people that thinking different. I think they want to get into EU for to have some rights and freedoms. But without external support managed to arrangements on the same rights and freedoms is more important.
