Sur moi

I was born in Luxembourg in 1975. As a child of the economic "miracle", I grew up straddling the gap between the dying steel industry and Luxembourg's nascent banking industry; from the blast furnaces of my immigrant grandparents to the bowels of my parents' global banking system, where my father, a brilliant and quirky computer programmer, developed the banking software of the early days. A slag generation, I spent part of my childhood scribbling in meaningless offices trying to make sense of the world's entanglements. Always this obsession to understand the wheels, I would have made it my profession, and become a systemic counselor. This same passion, and a need to digest the world, leads me today to resume my activity of press drawing: to give a synthetic image of the social, political and human systems, and this, with a touch of grating humour of the rolling mills of my native city. So, in June 2021 I decided to take up my pencils and committed myself working at daily press-drawing once again.
