Very proud of my first attempt at trying to master the new medium for me, of digital painting. The learning curve was a challenge for me at I LITERALLY started this at 9pm one night and finished it at 5AM the next morning! In the process learned an awful lot about digital painting, my strengths and weaknesses and the awesome potential of this new medium. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG???

Exerpt of my animated/sequential art series, THE CHRIST CHRONICLES This episode centers around Jesus' temptation in The Wilderness (found in the book of Matthew Chapter 4 in the Holy Bible New Testament.) after his fast where he is tempted by Satan. I wanted to Give Christ a Contemporary look, and my handling of the text has a comic bent given my proclivity for cartooning and caricature. After you've laughed, dont forget to read the text from Mathhew 4.

Does the Hammer really WANT to change, and cant? Does the Nail really want to leave? lots of questions, and a lotta hurt. My heart goes out to people trapped in this love, hate, hurt conflict cycle.

I wanted to tell a story about how a lovesick guy writes a love letter so passionate, so expressive, that the girl falls in love with the LETTER Literally! LOL! A condum company was having a contest to see who could re design their wrapper.... I TRIED to do a graphic design but the cartoonist in me just wouldnt let me do it!! LOL! I thought I could use this opporunity to point out how youngins' think they "know everything" but older folks KNOW BETTER!! Editorial done for The Wave Newspaper. US Congressmen Anthony Weiner and Greg Meeks created a legal loophole that allows for gun sales from gun shows to anyone who is willing to travel to Virginia, North and South Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania to attend a gun show. A lot of these guns have been purchased by lawbreakers in the Rockaways according to the editorial.

series of animation cells drawn originally for a client of the webcomic, "larger than life" by Nathan Scott. In this episode, the hero, "seven" had retreated to the serenity of the bathroom to "take care of some business", but finds himself "unable to go" minutes before he is scheduled to go on his live talk show. I always enjoyed the animated quality that I drew this series in, and this sequence worked perfectly.
