The idea could have been implied by Eckhart Tolle as it is part of the non-duality view. There are a number of people who express this view, you can find them on the right hand side of my blog at http://advaitatoons.blogspot.com/
I have Eckhart listed there too.
I have read a lot of this type of book and that is where my cartoon ideas come from. Finding this nondual stuff changed my life!! It's a great subject for cartoons.
